Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Semaphorin 3A (SEMA3A) is a member of the semaphorin family, which is known for its role in axon guidance and neural development. Originally identified as a crucial player in the nervous system, SEMA3A functions primarily as a chemorepulsive signal, influencing the migration of neurons and the growth of axons during embryonic development. Beyond its traditional neurological roles, emerging studies have implicated SEMA3A in a variety of physiological and pathological processes, including immune response, vascular development, and tumor progression. Research on SEMA3A has highlighted its interactions with neuropilins and plexins, the receptors that mediate its signaling pathways, which are critical for understanding its biological functions. Additionally, alterations in SEMA3A expression have been observed in various diseases, including cancer, where it may act as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting angiogenesis and metastasis. Thus, creating recombinant SEMA3A proteins has become a focal point in the field, allowing researchers to explore its therapeutic potential and elucidate its mechanisms of action. Investigations into SEMA3A are aimed at leveraging its properties for novel treatment strategies in both neurodegenerative diseases and cancer, making it a promising target for future biomedical research.
