Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C16orf9, also known as Chromosome 16 Open Reading Frame 9, is a relatively under-characterized gene that has gained attention in recent years due to its potential role in various biological processes and diseases. This gene encodes a protein that is thought to be involved in cellular functions such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Early studies have suggested that alterations in C16orf9 expression may be associated with certain types of cancer, indicating its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The protein's specific functions and mechanisms of action remain largely unexplored, prompting researchers to focus on its recombinant expression for detailed characterization. By producing recombinant C16orf9 protein, scientists aim to elucidate its structural properties and interaction partners, providing insights into its biological relevance. Such research is crucial for understanding the protein’s role in normal physiology and its implications in disease contexts. In light of its potential significance, recombinant C16orf9 protein research may pave the way for therapeutic strategies targeting associated pathways, ultimately contributing to advancements in precision medicine and targeted therapies. Through this exploration, the scientific community hopes to unveil the mysteries surrounding C16orf9, offering new avenues for diagnosis and treatment in diseases where this protein is implicated.
