Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The yegS gene, found in Escherichia coli, encodes a protein that has garnered interest due to its potential role in bacterial stress response and adaptation. Research has indicated that yegS may be involved in regulating cellular processes under various environmental conditions, including high temperature, osmotic stress, and nutrient limitation. Previous studies suggest that the yegS protein may interact with other cellular components, influencing metabolic pathways and contributing to the bacterium's survival in harsh conditions. Understanding the functionality of the yegS protein is crucial for elucidating its molecular mechanisms and may have implications in synthetic biology and biotechnology applications. To explore the properties and functions of yegS, researchers employ recombinant DNA technology to produce the yegS protein in a controlled laboratory setting. This enables detailed biochemical and structural analyses, allowing scientists to investigate its role in cellular mechanisms and its potential applications in developing novel antimicrobial strategies or biotechnological tools. Overall, studying the yegS recombinant protein paves the way for deeper insights into bacterial physiology and the development of innovative solutions in microbiology and related fields.
