Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CACNG7, a member of the calcium channel subunit family, plays a crucial role in the regulation of voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs) and synaptic transmission. It is known to act as a gamma subunit, modulating the channel's properties and influencing calcium influx in neurons. Aberrations in CACNG7 have been linked to various neurological disorders, illustrating its significance in neuronal communication and plasticity. Given its potential implications in the pathophysiology of conditions such as epilepsy, schizophrenia, and autism, the study of CACNG7 has garnered substantial interest in the field of neuroscience. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of purified CACNG7, facilitating the exploration of its structural and functional characteristics. By employing techniques like protein expression systems and subsequent purification methods, researchers aim to uncover the specific interactions between CACNG7 and VGCCs, as well as its impact on neuronal excitability. Understanding these mechanisms at the molecular level may provide new insights into therapeutic targets for treating neuropsychological disorders. Additionally, the study of CACNG7 could contribute to the broader understanding of calcium signaling in various cellular processes, enhancing our comprehension of both normal and pathological brain function. Therefore, ongoing research into recombinant CACNG7 protein holds promise for advancing our knowledge in neurobiology and developing innovative strategies for intervention in related diseases.
