  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ROD1 is a protein that has garnered interest in the field of molecular biology due to its role in modulating various cellular processes, particularly in the context of cancer research. Initially identified as a component involved in the regulation of RNA metabolism, ROD1 has been implicated in the control of gene expression and splicing, making it an important player in post-transcriptional regulation. Recent studies have highlighted its potential involvement in tumorigenesis, where altered ROD1 expression patterns have been associated with various cancers. The ability to manipulate ROD1 through recombinant protein techniques allows researchers to explore its functional mechanisms in greater depth. By expressing ROD1 in a controlled laboratory setting, scientists can investigate its interactions with other cellular proteins and RNA molecules, providing insights into the pathways it influences. Understanding ROD1's role in cellular functions not only contributes to the foundational knowledge of gene regulation but also opens avenues for the development of therapeutic strategies aimed at targeting aberrant ROD1 expression in cancer. Overall, ROD1 represents a promising subject for further research, with implications for both fundamental biology and medical applications.
