Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UNC5B, a member of the netrin receptor family, plays a crucial role in neural development and various cellular processes, including cell migration, apoptosis, and axon guidance. Its function as a receptor for netrin-1, a key guidance cue in the nervous system, highlights its importance in establishing neural circuits. Research has indicated that UNC5B may also be implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. The generation of recombinant UNC5B proteins allows for detailed investigations into its structural and functional properties, facilitating the understanding of its signaling pathways and interactions with other proteins. By employing techniques such as protein expression, purification, and functional assays, scientists aim to elucidate UNC5B's role in physiological and pathological contexts. Additionally, recombinant UNC5B proteins can be utilized in drug discovery efforts, providing potential avenues for developing novel treatments for conditions associated with UNC5B dysregulation. Overall, the study of UNC5B recombinant proteins is pivotal for advancing our comprehension of its contributions to developmental biology and disease mechanisms.
