Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLAMF7 (Signaling Lymphocytic Activation Molecule Family Member 7), also known as CS1, is a cell surface receptor predominantly expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and some T cells. The research surrounding SLAMF7 has gained momentum due to its pivotal role in immune modulation and its implication in various types of cancer, autoimmune diseases, and viral infections. SLAMF7 is recognized for its involvement in enhancing the cytotoxicity of NK cells against tumor cells, making it a potential target for immunotherapeutic strategies. The development of recombinant SLAMF7 proteins has enabled researchers to investigate its structural characteristics and biological functions in detail. The creation of these recombinant proteins is vital for elucidating the signaling pathways activated upon SLAMF7 engagement and their subsequent effects on immune cell activation. Furthermore, studies have demonstrated that SLAMF7 can be harnessed in therapeutic applications, such as monoclonal antibody therapies, exemplified by the clinical success of elotuzumab in treating multiple myeloma. As scientists continue to explore the functional mechanisms of SLAMF7, understanding its interactions with other immune modulators may lead to novel strategies for enhancing anti-tumor immunity and overcoming therapeutic resistance in malignancies, thereby solidifying SLAMF7's role as a key player in the field of cancer immunology.
