  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SOX15, a member of the SRY-related HMG-box (SOX) family of transcription factors, plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression during development and in various tissue types. It is primarily associated with the regulation of stem cell identity, differentiation, and maintenance. Research has highlighted the significance of SOX15 in various biological processes, including embryonic development, tissue regeneration, and tumorigenesis. Given its involvement in pluripotency and differentiation, SOX15 has garnered attention in stem cell research and cancer biology. The study of SOX15 recombinant proteins is essential for understanding its functional mechanisms and interactions at the molecular level. By generating and characterizing SOX15 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to elucidate the pathways regulated by SOX15 and its potential role as a therapeutic target in regenerative medicine and cancer treatment. Experimental approaches involving protein overexpression, purification, and functional assays are pivotal for assessing its biological activity and interactions with other cellular proteins or DNA. This research not only sheds light on the fundamental biology of SOX15 but also opens avenues for developing innovative treatments for diseases linked to its dysregulation. Understanding SOX15’s precise mechanisms could provide valuable insights into its potential applications in enhancing stem cell therapies and improving cancer treatment strategies. Ultimately, the continued research into SOX15 and its recombinant proteins holds promise for advancing our knowledge in developmental biology and therapeutic interventions.
