Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SP140 is a crucial component of the immune system, primarily involved in regulating immune responses and maintaining the balance between activation and tolerance. It is a member of the Sp140 family of proteins, which are known to play significant roles in various biological processes, including transcriptional regulation and the modulation of signaling pathways in immune cells. Studies have highlighted SP140’s involvement in conditions like autoimmune diseases and infections, making it a focus of research aimed at understanding its functional mechanisms. The protein is expressed in immune cells such as lymphocytes and dendritic cells, where it participates in chromatin remodeling and influences the expression of genes related to immune responses. Given its potential implications in both health and disease, researchers have been exploring SP140 as a target for therapeutic interventions, particularly in enhancing immune responses or alleviating autoimmune disorders. The generation of recombinant SP140 protein has facilitated in-depth studies of its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular molecules, and its role in various signaling pathways. This research not only sheds light on the fundamental aspects of immune system regulation but also opens avenues for developing novel strategies in immunotherapy and vaccine design. Understanding the function of SP140 at the molecular level is essential for harnessing its potential in clinical applications and improving therapeutic outcomes for patients with immune-related conditions.
