Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FBXO21, a member of the F-box protein family, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is essential for protein degradation and cellular regulation. It functions as a substrate recognition component within SCF (SKP1-Cullin-F-box) ubiquitin ligase complexes, facilitating the ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of specific target proteins. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, DNA damage response, and immune regulation, making it a significant player in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Abnormal activity or expression of FBXO21 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as cancer and autoimmune diseases, emphasizing its potential as a therapeutic target. The reconstruction of FBXO21 protein allows researchers to explore its structural and functional characteristics in more detail. By generating recombinant FBXO21, investigators aim to elucidate its interaction with substrate proteins and ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, providing insights into its role in ubiquitin-mediated signaling pathways. Understanding these dynamics may reveal novel regulatory mechanisms and therapeutic avenues for diseases associated with dysregulated protein turnover. Thus, FBXO21 not only serves as a vital component of the ubiquitin-proteosome system but also holds promise for advancing targeted interventions in cancer and other disorders linked to proteostasis.
