Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRAME (Preferentially Expressed Antigen in Melanoma) is a cancer/testis (CT) antigen that has garnered significant attention in cancer immunotherapy research due to its restricted expression pattern. Primarily found in the testis and in various tumor types, particularly melanoma, PRAME plays a crucial role in the development of immune responses against cancer cells. The unique expression of PRAME in tumors, alongside its absence in healthy somatic tissues, makes it an attractive target for cancer vaccines and adoptive T cell therapies. Research has demonstrated that PRAME-specific T cells can recognize and eliminate tumor cells, suggesting its potential as an immunotherapeutic target. Furthermore, understanding the mechanisms of PRAME's action and its interaction with the immune system can provide insights into enhancing the efficacy of existing therapies. Studies are ongoing to explore the development of PRAME-based vaccines and to evaluate their effectiveness in clinical settings, aiming to improve treatment outcomes for patients with melanoma and other cancers expressing this antigen. Thus, the exploration of PRAME as a target in cancer immunotherapy holds promise for advancing therapeutic strategies and ultimately improving survival rates in cancer patients.
