Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KCNN2, also known as potassium calcium-activated channel subfamily N member 2, is a gene that encodes a calcium-activated potassium channel crucial for various physiological processes. Recent studies have highlighted its role in regulating neuronal excitability, muscle contraction, and cardiovascular functions. Given its involvement in calcium signaling pathways, KCNN2 is of particular interest in the context of various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and cancers. Research into KCNN2 recombinant proteins has gained momentum as these proteins enable a deeper understanding of the channel's biophysical properties, regulation, and potential as therapeutic targets. By expressing recombinant KCNN2, scientists aim to elucidate its structure-function relationship, identify pharmacological inhibitors, and develop strategies for manipulating its activity. This research holds promise for novel therapeutic approaches in treating diseases associated with dysregulation of calcium signaling and potassium ion homeostasis. Thus, the study of KCNN2 recombinant proteins is vital not only for basic science but also for potential clinical applications in precision medicine.
