稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MUC2 is a crucial member of the mucin family, primarily expressed in intestinal goblet cells, where it plays a vital role in forming the protective mucus layer of the gut. This layer is essential for maintaining gut health, serving as a barrier against pathogens, facilitating digestion, and supporting overall immune function. Research on MUC2 has gained significant attention due to its implications in various gastrointestinal diseases, such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colorectal cancer, and infections. The understanding of MUC2's structure and functional properties is imperative for developing therapeutic strategies, as aberrant expressions or mutations in MUC2 can lead to compromised mucus production and increased susceptibility to disease. The production of recombinant MUC2 protein allows for deeper investigations into its biochemical properties, interactions, and roles in disease pathology. By studying the recombinant form, researchers can explore post-translational modifications, functional assays, and potential therapeutic applications, ultimately contributing to the development of novel treatments that target mucosal health and diseases associated with mucin deficiencies. The ongoing research into MUC2, facilitated by advances in recombinant protein technology, is crucial for unveiling the complexities of mucosal immunity and gastrointestinal homeostasis.
