  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The research on FSCB (F-actin striated muscle-binding protein) recombinant proteins has gained attention due to its critical role in muscle development and function. FSCB is a multi-domain protein primarily expressed in striated muscle tissues, where it interacts with F-actin and plays a pivotal role in sarcomere organization and muscle contraction. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying FSCB's function can provide valuable insights into myopathies and other muscle-related disorders. Recombining FSCB proteins allows for detailed structural and functional analyses, facilitating the exploration of their interactions with other cytoskeletal components and signaling pathways. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of large quantities of purified FSCB proteins, which can be utilized in various biochemical assays, including binding studies and structural characterization using techniques like X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy. This research not only enhances our understanding of muscle biology but also opens up potential therapeutic avenues for treating muscle degeneration and enhancing regenerative therapies. Thus, the study of FSCB recombinant proteins is crucial for unraveling the complexities of muscle function and for developing strategies to combat muscle-related diseases.
