稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GABBR2, a subtype of the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor, plays a critical role in the central nervous system by mediating inhibitory neurotransmission. The GABBR2 gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor that responds to GABA, the main inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain, affecting numerous physiological processes such as mood regulation, anxiety, and seizure threshold. Dysregulation of GABBR2 has been implicated in various neurological disorders, making it a significant target for drug development. Recent studies have focused on the structural and functional characterization of GABBR2, emphasizing the importance of recombinant protein production for elucidating its signaling mechanisms and pharmacological properties. The generation of GABBR2 recombinant proteins allows for in-depth assays to investigate ligand-binding interactions and receptor activation pathways, providing insights into its role in synaptic transmission and neuropharmacology. Furthermore, understanding the interaction between GABBR2 and potential therapeutic compounds could lead to novel treatments for conditions such as epilepsy, anxiety disorders, and depression. Researchers are utilizing advanced techniques such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy to visualize the receptor’s structure and understand its conformational dynamics. Overall, the study of GABBR2 recombinant proteins represents a promising avenue for developing targeted therapies to modulate GABAergic signaling and improve neurological outcomes.
