稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin (SHBG) is a glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in regulating the bioavailability and distribution of sex hormones such as testosterone and estradiol in the bloodstream. Abnormal levels of SHBG have been associated with various health conditions, including metabolic syndrome, obesity, and reproductive disorders. The study of SHBG has gained significant attention in recent years due to its implications in endocrinology and its potential as a biomarker for assessing hormone-related diseases. Recombinant SHBG proteins are being developed to further explore its structural and functional characteristics, facilitating studies on hormone binding affinity, interaction with target tissues, and hormonal regulation mechanisms. By using recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce SHBG in vitro, allowing for more controlled experiments and the possibility of large-scale production for therapeutic applications. Understanding the role of SHBG in hormone regulation is also important for developing targeted therapies for conditions related to hormone imbalance. Overall, the research on recombinant SHBG proteins is significant for advancing our knowledge of hormonal regulation, potential diagnostic tools, and innovative therapeutic approaches.
