Gene name
Fibronectin
-
简介
Fibronectin binds collagen, fibrin, heparin, DNA, and actin. It is involved in cell adhesion, motility, opsonization, wound healing and maintenance of cell shape. Fibronectin Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived Fibronectin protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
- Application
-
Biological Activity
1. Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of NIH-3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. When cells are added to Fibronectin coated plates (2.5 μg/mL and 100 μL/well), approximately 35%-60% cells will adhere specifically after 35 minutes at 37°C. 2. Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of NIH-3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. The ED50 this effect is 0.5-1.5 μg/mL. Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of NIH-3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. The ED50 this effect is 1.389 μg/ml, corresponding to a specific activity is 719.94 units/mg.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.
