简介
The LYPD3/C4.4A protein is a multifunctional cell surface molecule that is critical for cell migration and has been implicated in potential tumor progression. It binds laminin 1 and laminin 5, emphasizing its role in extracellular matrix interactions. LYPD3/C4.4A Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived LYPD3/C4.4A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LYPD3, also known as C4.4A, is a member of the Ly6 family of glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored proteins and has gained attention due to its potential role in various biological processes and diseases. Initially identified in T cells, LYPD3 is involved in cell adhesion, signaling, and immune responses. Its expression is particularly notable in tumor microenvironments, suggesting a role in cancer biology. Studies have shown that LYPD3 is associated with the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), a critical process in cancer metastasis, where cells gain migratory and invasive properties. The reconstitution of LYPD3 as a recombinant protein allows for in-depth examination of its structure and function, as well as its interactions with other cellular proteins and receptors. Furthermore, understanding the role of LYPD3 in immune modulation presents opportunities for therapeutic interventions in cancer and autoimmune diseases. As research progresses, LYPD3/C4.4A may serve as a promising biomarker for diagnosis or prognosis in various cancers, highlighting its significance in both immunology and oncology research.
