简介
B2M is a component of MHC class I complexes that present peptide antigens to the immune system. B2M/Beta-2 microglobulin Protein, Human (HEK293, His, solution) is the recombinant human-derived B2M/Beta-2 microglobulin protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
B2M, or Beta-2-microglobulin, is a small protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system, particularly in the presentation of peptide antigens to T cells as part of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules. Research into B2M has gained importance due to its implications in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic kidney disease. Elevated levels of B2M have been associated with poor prognosis in multiple myeloma and other hematological malignancies, making it a potential biomarker for disease progression and therapeutic response. Furthermore, the reconstitution of B2M has been investigated for its potential benefits in improving immune responses, particularly in vaccine development and immunotherapy strategies. The ability to produce recombinant B2M allows for detailed studies on its structure-function relationship and the development of therapies that leverage its immunological properties. Overall, the ongoing research into B2M and its recombinant forms continues to provide valuable insights into both basic immunology and translational applications in clinical settings.
