Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CEACAM6 (Carcinoembryonic Antigen-Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 6) is a member of the CEACAM family, which plays a significant role in cell adhesion, immune response, and oncogenesis. Its expression is notably upregulated in various cancers, including colorectal, breast, and prostate cancers, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. Researchers have been exploring CEACAM6 as a contributor to tumor progression and metastasis due to its involvement in cell signaling pathways that facilitate tumor growth and immune evasion. The study of recombinant CEACAM6 protein provides insights into its biological functions and interactions at the molecular level. Through the production of functional recombinant forms of CEACAM6, scientists aim to investigate its role in cellular processes and its potential as a platform for cancer immunotherapy. Understanding the structure-function relationship of CEACAM6 can lead to novel therapeutic strategies, including the development of monoclonal antibodies or targeted drugs that disrupt its interactions in the tumor microenvironment. This research not only contributes to cancer biology but also opens avenues for innovative diagnostic and treatment modalities, potentially improving outcomes for cancer patients.
