Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DGKd (Diacylglycerol kinase delta) is a member of the diacylglycerol kinase family, which plays a critical role in lipid signaling and cellular function by phosphorylating diacylglycerol to form phosphatidic acid. The enzyme is particularly important in the regulation of various physiological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis, as well as in the immune response. Aberrant DGKd activity has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Research into recombinant DGKd proteins has gained momentum due to the need to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying its function and regulation. The production of recombinant DGKd allows for detailed biochemical characterization, investigation of its interactions with other signaling molecules, and examination of its role in cellular pathways. Additionally, recombinant forms of DGKd can be utilized in drug discovery efforts, where inhibitors or activators of the enzyme might offer therapeutic potential. Advances in recombinant DNA technology and protein expression systems have enabled the efficient production of DGKd, facilitating a deeper exploration of its biological significance and potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the structure-function relationship of DGKd through research on its recombinant proteins may lead to novel insights into how lipid signaling influences health and disease.
