简介
The EIF1 protein is a key member of the 43S preinitiation complex (43S PIC), binding to the mRNA cap-proximal region, scanning the 5′-untranslated region, and localizing the initiation codon. EIF1 Protein, Human (GST) is the recombinant human-derived EIF1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-GST labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EIF1 (Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 1) is a crucial protein that plays a significant role in the initiation phase of eukaryotic translation. This factor is integral to the formation of the translation initiation complex, which ensures the accurate recognition of the start codon on mRNA. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of EIF1 in maintaining the fidelity of translation and its influence on the efficiency of protein synthesis. Given its pivotal role, researchers have been investigating the recombination and structural properties of EIF1 to better understand its function and interactions during translation initiation. This research has broad implications, not only for fundamental biology but also for the development of therapeutic strategies, as dysregulation of translation initiation is often associated with various diseases, including cancer. By generating recombinant EIF1 proteins, scientists aim to unravel the molecular mechanisms underlying translation initiation and explore potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. This protein's study is essential for elucidating the complexities of gene expression regulation and informing new approaches to target translation processes in disease contexts.
