Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LIM-domain containing protein 2 (LIMD2) is a member of the LIM domain protein family, which plays pivotal roles in various biological processes, including cell signaling, differentiation, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Research into LIMD2 has gained traction due to its emerging implications in cancer biology and cellular stress responses. Elevated levels of LIMD2 expression have been linked to the progression and metastasis of various cancers, suggesting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Furthermore, LIMD2 is involved in the regulation of cellular functions related to the actin cytoskeleton, influencing cell shape, motility, and adhesion. Studies have revealed that LIMD2 interacts with several key signaling pathways, thereby modulating cellular responses to environmental stresses. The recombinant expression of LIMD2 allows for detailed structural and functional analyses, facilitating the understanding of its role in normal physiology and pathological conditions. By generating recombinant LIMD2, researchers can explore its molecular interactions, functional mechanisms, and potential as a drug target. Insights gained from these studies could pave the way for innovative therapeutic strategies aimed at manipulating LIMD2 activity in cancer and other diseases. Thus, LIMD2 represents a promising focus of research in the fields of molecular biology, oncology, and drug development.
