Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GPRC5D, a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, has garnered significant attention in recent years for its potential role in various pathological conditions, particularly in cancer biology. Unlike other G protein-coupled receptors, GPRC5D is predominantly expressed in certain hematologic malignancies, such as multiple myeloma, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention. Research has shown that GPRC5D is involved in key signaling pathways that influence cell proliferation, survival, and apoptosis, highlighting its importance in tumor progression. The development of GPRC5D recombinant proteins facilitates the exploration of this receptor's structure and function, paving the way for the identification of specific inhibitors or antibodies that can modulate its activity. Additionally, understanding the dynamics of GPRC5D through recombinant protein studies provides insights into its potential as a biomarker for disease prognosis and therapeutic response. As scientists continue to investigate the molecular mechanisms underpinning GPRC5D's role in cancer, the therapeutic strategies leveraging GPRC5D are evolving, hinting at new avenues for targeted treatments in hematologic disorders. These advances underscore the importance of GPRC5D in the landscape of cancer research and therapeutic development, positioning it as a crucial focus for future studies aimed at improving patient outcomes.
