Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB2A, a member of the RAB family of small GTPases, plays a crucial role in intracellular transport and membrane trafficking processes. It is primarily involved in the regulation and organization of the secretory pathway, including the transport of proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to the Golgi apparatus. Dysregulation of RAB2A has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer, making it a significant target for biomedical research. Studies have shown that RAB2A interacts with various effector proteins and is essential for maintaining the integrity of the Golgi structure and function. This has prompted researchers to focus on RAB2A as a potential therapeutic target. Recombinant RAB2A proteins are often produced to facilitate studies on its biochemical properties, such as GTPase activity and interaction with downstream effectors. Understanding the mechanisms by which RAB2A operates may lead to insights into the cellular processes it regulates and its potential role in disease pathways. Overall, the study of RAB2A and its recombinant protein form is vital for elucidating its function in cellular trafficking, and it may have implications for the development of novel therapeutic strategies against diseases where RAB2A is implicated.
