Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The iscS gene encodes a crucial enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of iron-sulfur (Fe-S) clusters, which are essential cofactors in various biological processes, including electron transport and enzyme function. Research on iscS and its recombinant protein has gained significant attention due to its role in cellular metabolism and oxidative stress response. Fe-S clusters play a vital role in mitochondrial function and are implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Understanding the structure and function of iscS recombinant protein can provide insights into the mechanisms of Fe-S cluster assembly and its regulation, paving the way for potential therapeutic applications. Additionally, characterizing the iscS protein can enhance our knowledge of metal ion homeostasis and the impact of oxidative damage in cells. As researchers aim to elucidate the intricate pathways involving iscS, the potential for biotechnological applications, such as improving microbial strains for bioremediation or bioenergy, is also being explored. The study of iscS recombinant protein not only contributes to our fundamental understanding of cellular biology but also highlights its significance in addressing pressing health and environmental challenges.
