Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCAAT/enhancer-binding proteins (C/EBPs) are a family of transcription factors that play crucial roles in regulating gene expression in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and survival. The CCAAT-box, a specific DNA sequence, is a key element recognized by these proteins, facilitating their binding to target genes and influencing their transcription. Research has highlighted the significance of C/EBPs in metabolic regulation, immune responses, and oncogenesis. For instance, C/EBPα is well-established as a critical player in adipocyte differentiation, while C/EBPβ and C/EBPδ are implicated in the acute-phase response and immune signaling pathways. The dysregulation of C/EBP proteins has been associated with various diseases, particularly cancers, where their abnormal expression can promote tumorigenesis and metastasis. As such, understanding the functional mechanisms and regulatory networks involving C/EBPs is vital for developing potential therapeutic strategies for diseases linked to their aberrant activity. Recent studies utilizing advanced genomic and proteomic techniques have shed light on the intricate interactions between C/EBPs and other transcriptional regulators, enhancing our knowledge of their roles in cellular functions. This growing understanding creates opportunities for innovative research aimed at targeting C/EBP pathways in therapeutic contexts, further emphasizing their importance in both fundamental biology and clinical applications.
