Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLCF1, or Cardiotrophin-like cytokine factor 1, is a member of the IL-6 cytokine family that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including neuronal survival, cardiac function, and immune responses. Research has identified CLCF1 as a neuroprotective factor, prompting investigations into its potential therapeutic applications for neurodegenerative diseases. The protein exerts its effects by binding to specific receptors and activating downstream signaling pathways, contributing to cellular resilience against stress and inflammation. Additionally, CLCF1 has been implicated in cardiac remodeling and repair, making it a candidate for studies related to heart diseases. Recombinant CLCF1 protein has been utilized to elucidate its functional properties and interactions in cell culture and animal models, providing insights into its role in relevant signaling pathways. As researchers continue to explore the therapeutic implications of CLCF1, understanding its structural and functional characteristics through recombinant protein studies is essential for the development of targeted treatments in neuroprotection and cardiology.
