  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ASD (Aminoglycoside 3'-phosphotransferase) recombinant proteins have garnered significant attention in recent years due to their potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. These proteins play a crucial role in antibiotic resistance, particularly in relation to aminoglycoside antibiotics, which are often used to treat severe bacterial infections. The increasing incidence of multidrug-resistant bacterial strains has necessitated a deeper understanding of the mechanisms underlying antibiotic resistance, making ASD proteins a focal point of research. Moreover, the expression and characterization of ASD recombinant proteins allow scientists to explore their biochemical properties, interactions with antibiotics, and the pathways through which they confer resistance to bacteria. This research is vital not only for developing novel antimicrobial strategies but also for devising diagnostic tools to detect resistance patterns in clinical settings. Furthermore, recombinant ASD proteins serve as valuable models for studying enzyme activity and inhibition, providing insights into potential therapeutic targets. By elucidating the structure-function relationships of these proteins, researchers aim to design new inhibitors that could restore the efficacy of existing antibiotics. Overall, the study of ASD recombinant proteins is pivotal in addressing the global challenge of antibiotic resistance and enhancing our understanding of microbial physiology and pathogenesis.
