Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MYO1C, or Myosin IC, is a member of the unconventional myosin family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including intracellular transport, signal transduction, and cell motility. It is primarily expressed in neuronal cells and has been implicated in the functioning of synaptic vesicles, contributing to neurotransmission. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of MYO1C in organelle positioning and the maintenance of cellular architecture, with mutations in the MYO1C gene linked to neurological disorders. Given its essential functions, researchers aim to produce recombinant MYO1C protein for in-depth functional studies. Characterizing this protein can illuminate its roles and mechanisms at the molecular level, potentially leading to insights into neurological pathways and the development of therapeutic strategies for related diseases. Understanding MYO1C's interactions and regulatory mechanisms is crucial for deciphering its contribution to cellular dynamics and may facilitate advances in treating myosin-related pathologies. The recombinant MYO1C protein provides a valuable tool for studying myosin function and investigating its impact on cellular processes, opening avenues for future research in cell biology and neuroscience.
