Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GUCY1A3 encodes for the alpha 3 subunit of soluble guanylate cyclase, an enzyme that plays a critical role in the nitric oxide (NO) signaling pathway, which is essential for various physiological processes including vascular relaxation, neurotransmission, and modulation of inflammation. Abnormalities in GUCY1A3 have been linked to a range of cardiovascular disorders, neurological conditions, and pulmonary hypertension, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Research into GUCY1A3 recombinant proteins aims to better understand the structure-function relationship of the enzyme, the mechanisms of NO signaling, and its implications in disease states. By producing and characterizing these recombinant proteins, scientists can elucidate the catalytic properties of the enzyme, explore its interactions with different ligands, and investigate the effects of genetic variations on its activity. This foundational knowledge can inform the development of novel pharmacological agents and gene therapies aimed at modulating the NO pathway for therapeutic benefit. Furthermore, GUCY1A3 studies contribute to the broader field of protein engineering and receptor biology, offering insights into how specific alterations may lead to enhanced enzyme performance or altered signaling pathways. Understanding the function and regulation of GUCY1A3 not only advances our knowledge of guanylate cyclase biology but also provides critical insights into potential interventions for diseases associated with dysregulated NO signaling.
