Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HMG20A (High Mobility Group 20A) is a member of the high mobility group protein family, which is known to play significant roles in chromatin remodeling, gene regulation, and cell differentiation. Research on HMG20A has garnered attention due to its implications in various biological processes and potential involvement in diseases, particularly cancers. The protein is characterized by its ability to bind to DNA and influence the structural configuration of chromatin, thereby regulating the transcription of target genes. Studies have shown that HMG20A can act as a transcriptional co-activator, linking various signaling pathways and modulating the expression of genes involved in cellular responses. Furthermore, alterations in HMG20A expression levels have been associated with tumorigenesis and other pathological conditions, prompting investigations into its role as a potential biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of HMG20A enables researchers to explore its functional properties, elucidate its mechanism of action, and assess its interactions with other cellular components. This understanding could pave the way for novel strategies in cancer treatment and regenerative medicine, highlighting the importance of HMG20A as a focal point in molecular biology and therapeutic research.
