Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD26, also known as dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV), is a multifunctional glycoprotein that plays crucial roles in immune regulation, cell signaling, and metabolism. It is expressed on various immune cells and is involved in T-cell activation and proliferation. Elevated levels of CD26 have been associated with several conditions, including autoimmune diseases, infections, and cancers, making it a significant focus for therapeutic interventions. Researchers have been investigating the potential of CD26 as a biomarker for disease progression and treatment response, as well as its role in the immune response to pathogens and tumors. The recombinant production of CD26 allows for detailed studies of its biological functions and interactions, facilitating the development of CD26-targeted therapies. Furthermore, CD26's enzymatic activity in cleaving N-terminal dipeptides has implications for regulating the activity of several biologically active peptides. Consequently, understanding the structure, function, and therapeutic potential of CD26 through recombinant protein studies could provide novel insights into immune modulation and disease management. As a result, CD26 recombinant proteins are being explored not only for their roles in diagnostics and therapeutics but also for their potential influence in enhancing the efficacy of existing treatments, thereby making CD26 a significant target in contemporary biomedical research.
