Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The bLPH (bovine lecithin:cholesterol acyltransferase) recombinant protein has garnered significant attention in biomedical research due to its potential roles in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular health. As a key enzyme involved in the processing of lipids, bLPH plays an essential role in the synthesis of lysophosphatidylcholine from phosphatidylcholine and cholesterol, thereby influencing cholesterol homeostasis and membrane fluidity. Dysregulation of lipid metabolism is linked to various health issues, including atherosclerosis, obesity, and metabolic syndrome, making bLPH a target for therapeutic interventions. The production of bLPH as a recombinant protein facilitates detailed studies of its functional properties, enzymatic activity, and interaction with other biomolecules. Recent advances in molecular cloning and expression systems allow for the efficient generation of bLPH, enabling researchers to explore its biochemical pathways and potential applications in drug development and nutritional supplementation. Additionally, understanding the structure-function relationship of bLPH could lead to innovative strategies for modulating lipid profiles and improving cardiovascular health, highlighting its significance in both basic and applied sciences. The ongoing investigation into bLPH’s mechanisms and effects opens new avenues for therapeutic approaches aimed at promoting better metabolic health and preventing lipid-related diseases.
