Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
METAP1, or methionine aminopeptidase 1, is an essential enzyme that plays a crucial role in protein synthesis and maturation by cleaving N-terminal methionine residues from nascent peptides. The significance of METAP1 in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, has drawn considerable attention in the field of molecular biology and biomedicine. Aberrations in METAP1 expression and function have been linked to several diseases, including cancer, where it may influence tumor growth and metastasis. Furthermore, METAP1 has emerged as a potential therapeutic target due to its involvement in the regulation of hypoxia-inducible factors and other cellular pathways. Research on the recombinant form of METAP1 provides valuable insights into its enzymatic activity, structural characteristics, and interaction with various substrates, enabling the exploration of its potential as a biomarker or a drug target. By generating and characterizing METAP1 recombinant proteins, scientists aim to better understand its functional mechanisms and the implications of its dysregulation in disease contexts. The continued investigation of METAP1 is essential for advancing knowledge in protein biochemistry and developing innovative therapeutic strategies.
