Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Ndst2 (N-deacetylase/N-sulfotransferase 2) is an important enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of heparin sulfate, a critical glycosaminoglycan that plays essential roles in various biological processes, including cell signaling, proliferation, migration, and the regulation of coagulation. The Ndst2 gene, located on mouse chromosome 2, encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the deacetylation and subsequent sulfation of glucosamine residues in heparan sulfate chains. Dysregulation of heparan sulfate biosynthesis due to mutations or altered expression of Ndst2 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, fibrosis, and developmental disorders. Recombination techniques have facilitated the production of Ndst2 recombinant proteins, enabling researchers to study their biochemical properties and functional roles in cellular contexts. By investigating the mechanisms through which Ndst2 influences heparin sulfate structure and function, scientists aim to elucidate its contributions to normal physiological processes as well as pathological states. This research has implications for therapeutic strategies targeting Ndst2 and related pathways, presenting opportunities for the development of novel treatments for diseases associated with heparin sulfate dysregulation. Understanding the molecular intricacies of Ndst2 may also provide insights into broader glycosaminoglycan biology, leading to advancements in biomedical applications.
