  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MID1 is a gene that encodes a protein involved in various cellular processes, particularly in the context of cellular stability and signaling pathways. Its mutations have been linked to a range of developmental disorders, notably Opitz G/BBB syndrome, which highlights the gene's significance in human health and development. Research into MID1 protein has gained momentum due to its role as a potential tumor suppressor and its involvement in oncogenic pathways. Studies have shown that MID1 interacts with several critical proteins, influencing the degradation of these proteins through the ubiquitin-proteasome system. This regulatory function is essential in maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing abnormal cell proliferation. Moreover, MID1's ability to modulate various signaling cascades underscores its importance in both physiological and pathological conditions. The ongoing research aims to elucidate the detailed mechanisms of MID1 function, its interactions with intracellular partners, and its implications in diseases, particularly cancer. Understanding MID1 at the molecular level could provide valuable insights for therapeutic strategies, potentially leading to innovative treatments for related disorders.
