  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

NUP155 is a member of the nucleoporin family, which plays a crucial role in the structure and function of the nuclear pore complex (NPC). The NPC serves as a gateway for the regulated transport of molecules between the nucleus and the cytoplasm, and NUP155 is particularly important for facilitating the import of large macromolecules, including RNA and proteins. Recent studies have highlighted NUP155’s involvement in various cellular processes, including gene expression regulation and cell cycle progression. Additionally, NUP155 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of certain diseases, such as cancer, where alterations in nucleocytoplasmic transport can contribute to tumorigenesis. As a result, the recombinant expression of NUP155 protein has garnered interest for both basic research and potential therapeutic applications. Researchers aim to elucidate the functional properties of NUP155 by producing it in heterologous systems, allowing for in-depth studies of its structure, interactions, and role in nucleocytoplasmic transport. This research not only advances our understanding of nuclear pore dynamics but also opens avenues for developing strategies to target NUP155 in disease contexts, making it a significant focus in molecular biology and biomedicine.
