Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LMTK2 (Lemmik kinase 2) is a serine/threonine kinase implicated in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Its involvement in several diseases, particularly neurodegenerative disorders and cancer, has generated substantial interest in understanding its functional roles and molecular mechanisms. Research has suggested that LMTK2 may modulate key signaling pathways, including those associated with the regulation of neuronal activity and tumor growth. Furthermore, dysregulation of LMTK2 activity can lead to pathological conditions, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The expression of LMTK2 is widely distributed, predominantly in the brain, indicating its crucial role in neurological functions. Recent studies have begun to explore the structure-function relationship of LMTK2, revealing critical domains responsible for its enzymatic activity. To further dissect these functions, the generation of recombinant LMTK2 protein is essential, as it allows for detailed biochemical characterization and the investigation of substrate specificity, inhibitor interactions, and cellular effects in various biological contexts. Overall, research on recombinant LMTK2 aims to uncover its precise roles in health and disease, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions targeting LMTK2-related pathways.
