Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TRPC6 (Transient Receptor Potential Canonical 6) is a member of the TRP channel family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including calcium homeostasis, cell proliferation, and differentiation. Its dysfunction has been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as hypertension, cardiac hypertrophy, and kidney disease, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of TRPC6 in the pathophysiology of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), a kidney disorder leading to nephron injury and progressive kidney failure. As a result, there is a growing interest in characterizing TRPC6 at the protein level to understand its structure, function, and role in disease mechanisms better. Recombinant TRPC6 proteins are essential for conducting functional assays, structural analysis, and screening potential inhibitors. Advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production and purification of TRPC6, enabling researchers to investigate its biophysical properties, ion selectivity, and interaction with other cellular proteins. This research may pave the way for developing targeted therapies to mitigate TRPC6-related diseases, highlighting the importance of understanding TRPC6 biology at the molecular level. Overall, the study of TRPC6 recombinant proteins is vital for unraveling the complexities of calcium signaling pathways in health and disease, ultimately contributing to novel therapeutic strategies.
