  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

LRRN5 (Leucine-Rich Repeat Neuronal 5) is a protein that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential implications in neural development and synaptic function. It belongs to a family of proteins characterized by leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domains, which are known to mediate protein-protein interactions. Research suggests that LRRN5 may play a crucial role in neuronal differentiation, synaptic plasticity, and possibly neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, its expression patterns indicate that LRRN5 might be involved in the development of the central nervous system, particularly in the formation and maintenance of synapses. Given the increasing incidence of neurological disorders globally, understanding the function and mechanism of LRRN5 could pave the way for novel therapeutic approaches. The recombinant production of LRRN5 provides a valuable tool for studying its biochemical properties, elucidating its role in cellular pathways, and exploring its potential as a biomarker for neural health. Furthermore, investigating the interactions and pathways influenced by LRRN5 could illuminate its contribution to both healthy neural development and pathological conditions, underscoring the importance of this protein in neuroscientific research.
