Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NSMCE1 is a crucial protein involved in various cellular processes, particularly in the regulation of DNA damage response and maintenance of genomic stability. As a component of the SMC5/6 complex, NSMCE1 plays a vital role in the homologous recombination repair of DNA double-strand breaks. The dysregulation or mutation of NSMCE1 has been associated with several diseases, including cancer, highlighting its significance in maintaining cellular integrity. Recent studies have focused on the functional characterization of NSMCE1, employing recombinant protein techniques to elucidate its structural and biochemical properties. By producing and analyzing recombinant NSMCE1, researchers aim to better understand its interactions with other cellular components, its role in chromosomal architecture, and its involvement in the cellular repair machinery. Understanding NSMCE1's mechanisms and pathways is essential for developing targeted therapies that could enhance DNA repair processes in cancer cells or other pathologies linked to genomic instability. This research not only provides insight into fundamental biological processes but also paves the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating NSMCE1 activity in disease contexts.
