Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCID2, which stands for "Pole-Catalyzing Interacting Domain 2," is an essential protein involved in various cellular processes, including DNA repair, cell cycle regulation, and protein quality control. Research has highlighted its role as a cofactor in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, where it facilitates the recognition and degradation of misfolded proteins. Understanding PCID2 and its functional mechanisms has gained significant attention due to its implications in cancer biology and neurodegenerative diseases. Abnormalities in PCID2 expression levels have been correlated with tumorigenesis, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Additionally, its involvement in the cellular stress response underscores its importance in maintaining protein homeostasis and overall cell viability. Given these factors, the recombinant expression and characterization of PCID2 is crucial for elucidating its functional roles in cellular pathways and exploring its potential as a therapeutic target. Thus, ongoing studies aim to produce and analyze PCID2 recombinant proteins to better understand their biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular components, and their potential applications in drug development and disease treatment. The detailed study of PCID2 could pave the way for innovative strategies in combating diseases related to protein misfolding and cellular stress, contributing to advancements in molecular biology and medical research.
