Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPAP2B, also known as phosphatidic acid phosphatase type 2B, is an enzyme that plays a critical role in lipid metabolism by regulating the levels of phosphatidic acid and diacylglycerol in cells. It is particularly important in modulating various cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, thereby impacting multiple biological functions. Research on PPAP2B has gained momentum due to its associations with several diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders. The enzyme's activity is critical for maintaining cellular homeostasis and signaling pathways, making it a potential therapeutic target. Recent studies have focused on the molecular mechanisms through which PPAP2B exerts its effects and how it interacts with other signaling molecules. The production of recombinant PPAP2B protein is essential for these investigations, as it allows for the characterization of the enzyme's biochemical properties, substrate specificity, and interaction with other cellular components. Understanding the structure and function of PPAP2B at a molecular level can provide insights into its role in disease processes and facilitate the development of novel therapeutic interventions. As such, research on recombinant PPAP2B protein not only contributes to our fundamental knowledge of lipid signaling but also holds promise for translating findings into clinical applications.
