Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RBP2, or Retinoblastoma Binding Protein 2, is a key regulator of gene expression and an important factor in cellular processes such as differentiation and apoptosis. Research on RBP2 has gained momentum due to its involvement in various cancers and its potential as a therapeutic target. RBP2 functions as a demethylase that specifically removes methyl groups from lysine residues on histone proteins, thus playing a crucial role in chromatin remodeling and the regulation of gene transcription. Abnormal expression or activity of RBP2 has been linked to the promotion of tumorigenesis, making it a notable focus in cancer biology. Additionally, RBP2's interaction with various oncogenic pathways emphasizes its significance in understanding the molecular mechanisms of cancer progression. Studies have aimed to characterize recombinant RBP2 proteins to further elucidate its functions, enabling the development of targeted therapies. Understanding the structure-function relationships of RBP2 can provide insights into its role in epigenetic regulation and contribute to the discovery of potential inhibitors that may offer new avenues for cancer treatment. Overall, the exploration of RBP2 and its recombinant variants holds promise for advancing knowledge in cancer epigenetics and therapeutic interventions.
