Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PTPN18, also known as Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase, Non-Receptor Type 18, is an important enzyme involved in various cellular processes by regulating tyrosine phosphorylation, a critical mechanism in cell signaling pathways. Research indicates that PTPN18 plays a significant role in modulating immune responses, cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of PTPN18 has been implicated in several diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancers, where its phosphatase activity affects the signaling pathways of key immune and growth factor receptors. Understanding the structure and function of PTPN18 is crucial for unraveling its role in these diseases and developing potential therapeutic strategies. Recombinant PTPN18 proteins have been produced to study their biochemical properties, substrate specificity, and interactions with other signaling molecules. These studies utilize various techniques such as crystallography, enzymatic assays, and cellular assays to elucidate the functional relevance of PTPN18 in different biological contexts. Investigating PTPN18's role can provide insights into the development of novel interventions aimed at restoring its normal function in pathological conditions. As a result, PTPN18 stands as a promising target for research in therapeutic applications, enhancing our understanding of its contributions to cellular signaling and disease mechanisms.
