Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ELMO1 (Engulfment and Cell Motility 1) is a crucial protein implicated in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, cell migration, and immune response. Research into ELMO1 has gained traction due to its involvement in critical pathways associated with cancer progression and inflammation. ELMO1 is part of the ELMO-Dock-Rac signaling complex, which plays a vital role in regulating the actin cytoskeleton, thereby influencing cell shape and motility. Abnormal expression or mutation of ELMO1 has been linked to several types of cancer, including breast, lung, and colorectal cancer, making it a potential biomarker for tumor progression and a target for therapeutic intervention. Additionally, ELMO1’s role in phagocytosis and immune response highlights its importance in understanding autoimmune diseases and infectious diseases. The recombinant expression of ELMO1 protein allows for detailed biochemical characterization and provides insights into its functional mechanisms. Continued research on ELMO1 not only enhances our understanding of cellular dynamics but also paves the way for novel therapeutic strategies in treating cancer and inflammatory diseases.
