Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APG7L, also known as ATG7-like, is a significant protein involved in autophagy, a cellular degradation process essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress. Research on APG7L has garnered interest due to its evolutionary conservation and potential implications in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. It functions as an E1-like enzyme, facilitating the conjugation of autophagy-related proteins, thereby playing a crucial role in the initiation and regulation of autophagy. Studies indicate that APG7L may participate in mechanisms similar to those of its closely related counterpart, ATG7, yet its specific roles and pathways remain less understood. The characterization of APG7L is vital for elucidating its precise functions within autophagy and exploring its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of APG7L may provide insights into the modulation of autophagic processes, offering novel strategies for treating conditions linked to autophagic dysfunction. Investigating APG7L not only deepens our comprehension of autophagy but also highlights the complexity of cellular responses to stress, emphasizing the need for further research to explore its biological significance and therapeutic potential.
