Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPIP5K2, or Polyphosphate-5-kinase 2, is an enzyme involved in the phosphoryl transfer of inositol polyphosphates, which play crucial roles in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cell proliferation, and metabolism. It is known to participate in the regulation of cellular energy homeostasis and has been implicated in several metabolic disorders and cancer. Understanding the structure and function of PPIP5K2 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its biochemical properties and regulatory mechanisms. This research could facilitate the development of therapeutic interventions targeting PPIP5K2 in diseases characterized by dysregulated inositol phosphate signaling. Furthermore, as PPIP5K2 has emerged as a potential biomarker for certain pathologies, elucidating its roles and regulatory mechanisms at a molecular level is critical for advancing our understanding of its function in healthy and diseased states, particularly in the context of cancer metabolism and energy regulation. Consequently, recombinant expression of PPIP5K2 allows researchers to investigate its enzymatic activity, interaction with other signaling molecules, and potential as a drug target, contributing significantly to the fields of metabolic research and cellular signaling.
