Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PIP5K1C (Phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase type 1 gamma) is a key enzyme involved in the phosphoinositide signaling pathway, which plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including cell growth, survival, and membrane trafficking. This enzyme catalyzes the conversion of phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate (PI4P) into phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PI(4,5)P2), a crucial lipid second messenger that regulates a plethora of cellular functions such as cytoskeletal dynamics, vesicle formation, and cellular signaling pathways. Dysregulation of PIP5K1C has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, where altered lipid signaling can lead to enhanced cell proliferation and metastasis. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of PIP5K1C in tumor biology, prompting researchers to explore its potential as a therapeutic target. The generation of recombinant PIP5K1C protein allows for in-depth functional studies and offers insights into its enzymatic mechanisms and interaction with other cellular components. By employing techniques such as recombinant protein expression, purification, and enzymatic assays, researchers aim to uncover the biochemical properties of PIP5K1C, elucidate its role in cancer and other diseases, and investigate its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. Understanding the structure-function relationship of PIP5K1C may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity to treat diseases associated with phosphoinositide signaling abnormalities. Thus, the study of recombinant PIP5K1C protein can significantly contribute to the broader understanding of lipid signaling pathways in health and disease.
